Introduction

wolkvox Manager allows you to authorize an agent to connect to wolkvox Agent from a specific IP different from the general IP of the operation, for example, when working remotely or from a different location.

• An agent will work from home or another location and needs access to wolkvox Agent without being limited to the main IP of the operation.
• It is necessary to add an additional allowed IP for a specific agent without affecting the access configuration of other agents.
• The organization wants to reinforce access control, allowing certain agents to connect only from specific locations.

Configuration

To add an allowed IP for an agent in wolkvox Manager, follow these steps:

1. Log in to wolkvox Manager and, in the left sidebar menu, select "Agents & Skills."
2. Go to the "Agents" tab.
3. Locate the agent to whom you want to add a specific IP. Then, right-click on the agent.
4. Select "Edit Agent Information."
5. In the pop-up window, go to the "Advanced Information" tab.
6. In the "Allowed IP" field, enter the IP address from which the agent will be allowed to connect to wolkvox Agent.
7. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Note: If the agent attempts to connect from an IP different from the one specified in this field and that is not the general IP of the operation, they will not be able to access wolkvox Agent.
