Introduction

The **"Timer"** component allows you to insert a controlled pause within a **wolkvox Studio** flow, delaying the transition to the next component for a specified number of seconds. It is useful when you need to allow a time margin before continuing an interaction, such as waiting for an external response, making the customer experience more natural, or spacing out automated actions. This component is in the **Basics** group and can be used in all types of routing points: **Voice, Chat, Interactions**, and **CRM + Webhook**.

Configuration

  1. Double-click the **Timer** component to open its configuration window (right panel).
  2. In the **"Delay Time (seconds)"** field, enter the number of seconds you want the flow to wait before continuing.
    • For example, if you enter **3**, the flow will pause for **3 seconds** before moving to the next component.
    • Once the delay time is defined, click the **"Save"** button to apply the changes to the component.
