Introduction
Agentic Flow is an artificial intelligence tool integrated into wolkvox Studio that allows you to create, modify, and adapt routing flows using natural language instructions, without having to manually configure each component in the diagram.
Through a conversational assistant, administrators can describe the changes they need to make. Agentic Flow interprets the instructions, identifies the components and connections within the flow, and applies the modifications directly to the routing diagram.
The tool also allows you to access other existing routing points to use their structure as a reference and adapt their functionality to a new flow. For example, you can request that a voice IVR be converted into a chat flow, preserving its service logic and replacing voice-specific components with their chat equivalents.
For requests that require multiple modifications, Agentic Flow provides Plan mode, which organizes the work into individual tasks, allows you to monitor their execution, and compiles the flow when the plan is completed.
Agentic Flow is available in Voice Flow and Chat Flow routing points in wolkvox Studio.
What Is Agentic Flow Used For?
With this tool, you can:
- Create and modify flows using instructions: request changes to the diagram by describing what you need in natural language.
- Adapt flows across channels: use a voice routing point as a reference to build an equivalent chat flow, adapting the components to the characteristics of the channel.
- Reuse existing configurations: access other routing points to take advantage of their structure and functionality in new designs.
- Modify components and connections: request changes to the components used, conditions, paths, and connections within the flow.
- Automate complex modifications: divide a request into organized tasks using Plan mode, avoiding the need to make each modification individually.
- Monitor the execution of changes: view task statuses, results, and modifications made to the diagram.
- Validate changes: review the flow compilation and use wolkvox Studio testing tools to verify its functionality.
How to Use Agentic Flow in wolkvox Studio?
Access Agentic Flow
Log in to wolkvox Manager and open the wolkvox Studio section from the left sidebar. In the Diagram Routing tab, open the Voice Flow or Chat Flow routing point you want to configure. In the upper-left corner of the editor, above the routing point identifier and type, you will find a button with a red star icon. Click the star to open Agentic Flow.
When you activate the tool, a panel containing the conversational assistant will appear on the left side. From this panel, you can submit instructions and view the AI assistant's responses.
The design canvas will remain available on the right side so you can view the modifications made to the flow.

Select the Operating Mode
At the bottom of the Agentic Flow panel, you will find a dropdown menu that allows you to select the assistant's operating mode.
The available options are:
- Agent
- Plan
- Ask
To make modifications that require several related tasks, you can use Plan mode.
This mode allows Agentic Flow to analyze the request, divide it into a sequence of activities, and execute the necessary changes in an organized manner.
Example: if you need to adapt a voice IVR into a chat flow, Plan mode can identify the components of the original flow, determine which ones need to be replaced, and define the modifications required to preserve the expected behavior.

Send Instructions to Agentic Flow
At the bottom of the panel, you will find a field where you can enter the instructions you want to send to the assistant. You can submit requests in two ways:
Using Text
- Write an instruction describing the change you need to make.
- Identify the routing point you want to modify and, when applicable, the identifier of another flow you want to use as a reference.
- Submit the instruction for Agentic Flow to process.

Using Voice
- Click the button with the microphone icon, located to the right of the input field.
- Dictate the instruction you want to send.
- During recording, a visualization of the audio waves and elapsed time will appear.
- If you want to discard the recording, use the button with the trash can icon.
- To send the recording, click the button with the paper airplane icon.
The system transcribes the voice recording into text so Agentic Flow can interpret the request.
Recommendation: provide specific instructions, indicating what you want to preserve and what you need to modify. If the task involves another routing point, include its identifier so the assistant can locate it.

Request the Creation or Modification of a Flow
Once you have selected the operating mode, describe the result you want to achieve.
For example, to adapt a voice IVR into a chat flow, you can submit an instruction such as the following:
I need to adapt the Voice Flow routing point with ID 61005 to this Chat Flow. Preserve the service logic, validations, conditions, and paths of the original flow. Replace the audio playback and voice message components with chat-compatible components, and adapt the connections and conversational responses so they work correctly in this channel.
When Plan mode is used, Agentic Flow analyzes the request and determines the activities required to complete it.
In the example of adapting an IVR into a chat flow, the assistant may perform actions such as:
- Open the source routing point to examine its structure.
- Identify audio and text-to-speech (TTS) components.
- Replace voice components with Send Chat components, which are used to send messages through the chat channel.
- Adapt conversational components and their connections, including NO-MATCH outputs when applicable.
- Preserve and adapt decision conditions and the different service paths.
- Add the messages required to start, manage, and end the conversation.
- Validate the diagram structure and compile the flow upon completion.
These activities depend on the characteristics of the original flow and the instructions provided.

Monitor Task Execution
When Agentic Flow operates in Plan mode, a table showing the tasks identified to complete the request appears at the bottom of its panel.
The table contains the following columns:
- Task: describes the activity Agentic Flow must execute.
- Status: indicates the execution status of each task.
- Result: displays the result obtained after executing the activity.
The statuses displayed during the process include:
- pending: the task is waiting to be executed.
- running: the task is currently being executed.
- done: the task has been completed.
Above the table, the conversation history is displayed, including the submitted instructions, the assistant's responses, and execution progress.
For example, you may see messages indicating that Agentic Flow is opening a routing point, replacing specific components, or verifying the modifications made.
Plan progress is also displayed through messages such as Step 2 of 8, indicating the task currently being executed and the total number of planned activities.
During this process, the routing diagram is progressively updated with the changes made.
Important: when a request involves multiple tasks, execution may take longer than a simple modification. You can check the status of each activity and the assistant's responses to monitor progress.

Review the Modifications Made to the Diagram
While Agentic Flow executes the instructions, you can observe the modifications directly on the routing point's design canvas.
Changes may include adding new components, replacing existing elements, modifying conditions, and updating connections between components.
For example, when adapting a voice flow into a chat flow, components used to play voice messages can be replaced with components designed to send text messages.
The connections between conversational components can also be modified to adapt them to the functionality of the chat channel.
Once the tasks have been completed, verify that:
- The components used are compatible with the routing point's channel.
- The service paths and decision conditions preserve the required behavior.
- The messages sent to users are appropriate for the channel.
- The connections between components allow conversations to continue or end as expected.
- Components that depend on variables or external information retain the necessary configuration.
If you identify any behavior that needs to be corrected, you can submit additional instructions to Agentic Flow describing the specific changes required.

Verify Flow Compilation
When the tasks in Plan mode are completed, Agentic Flow compiles the flow.
At the bottom of the wolkvox Studio editor, you will find the Compile Log tab, where you can review the results of the process.
During a successful compilation, messages such as the following may appear:
- No syntax errors detected: no syntax errors were detected.
- Loading compiled chat file: the compiled chat flow file is being loaded.
- Upload successful: the file was uploaded successfully.
These messages allow you to verify that the flow passed the compilation checks and that the upload process was completed.
Important: successful compilation does not guarantee that all responses and conditions within the flow will behave exactly as expected. Therefore, functional testing is required after modifying the diagram.
If compilation errors occur, review the information in Compile Log, make the necessary corrections, and compile the flow again before using it.

Test Chat Flow Functionality
After completing the configuration and verifying compilation, you can test the Chat Flow routing point using the Test ChatBot functionality in wolkvox Studio.
To do this:
- On the flow editor toolbar, click the black button with a white triangle, corresponding to Test ChatBot.
- A right-side panel called Test CHATBOT will open.
- At the bottom of the panel, you will find the field for entering test messages. Type an initial message, such as "Hello".
- Review the responses generated by the flow and verify that they match the configured logic. Continue the conversation with different requests to check the functionality of the paths, conditions, and components.

For example, if you adapted a banking IVR for chat-based customer service, you can test balance inquiries, product information requests, or requests that activate different paths within the flow.
Responses will appear in the Test CHATBOT panel history, along with the messages submitted during testing.
Additionally, you can access the Debug Log tab, located at the bottom of the wolkvox Studio editor, to review information about flow execution.
During testing, the canvas allows you to observe the interaction's path through the diagram's components.
Recommendation: test different inputs and scenarios, including expected responses, unrecognized responses, alternative conditions, and conversation endings. This will help identify potential adjustments before using the flow in a live operation.

Make Additional Adjustments with Agentic Flow
If you identify a response during testing that does not match the expected behavior, you can use Agentic Flow again to request corrections.
For example:
Modify the flow's welcome message so that it is sent only in text format. Preserve the current paths and conditions.
You can also request adjustments to the connections of a condition, replacement of a component, or modification of the message sent at a specific stage of the conversation.
After making additional changes, verify compilation again and perform the corresponding tests.
This process allows you to progressively refine the routing point's functionality without having to manually rebuild the entire diagram.
Recommendations for Using Agentic Flow
To achieve better results when configuring flows with Agentic Flow, consider the following recommendations:
- Clearly define the objective: describe the behavior you need, the channel, and the expected result.
- Use Plan mode for complex tasks: especially when you need to modify multiple components, adapt paths, or use another flow as a reference.
- Identify the routing points: include the identifiers of the flows involved when the request requires accessing or reusing an existing configuration.
- Specify what should be preserved: if you are adapting a flow, indicate which conditions, validations, messages, or paths should not be modified.
- Review each result: check the completed tasks, the assistant's responses, and the changes made to the diagram.
- Verify differences between channels: a voice flow and a chat flow may require different components and connections, even when they share the same service logic.
- Compile and test before using the flow: verify that there are no compilation errors and that conversations follow the expected paths.
Agentic Flow simplifies the creation and modification of routing points using artificial intelligence, allowing administrators to focus on defining conversation logic and behavior while the tool applies the corresponding modifications to the wolkvox Studio diagram.
