Introduction

In **wolkvox Agent**, you can **quote messages** within a WhatsApp conversation to reply directly and with context (for example, when the customer asks multiple questions in a row). 

Note: The quote icon is available for agents across different connectors, but only with Cloud API will the quoted message be correctly displayed on the customer's side. Therefore, it will not work with other types of connectors, such as the Gupshup connector.

Quoting Process

• Open the WhatsApp conversation with the customer in **wolkvox Agent**.
• Hover your mouse over the message you want to quote (either from the customer or your own).
• In the message action menu, click the quote icon (arrow/quote).

• You will see the selected message attached as a quote at the top of the message composition box.
• Write your reply in the **"Type a message..."** field and send it.
• Result: The customer will receive your reply referencing the quoted message, making it easier to follow the conversation.
