Introduction
Turbo Dial is an intelligent functionality for campaigns in wolkvox Manager that optimizes dialing by using call history, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Its goal is to identify numbers that historically tend to yield negative results, such as No Answer, Failed, Busy, or voicemail, to temporarily deprioritize them and focus dialing on numbers with a higher probability of achieving an Answer. This helps improve contactability, increase agent occupancy, and speed up database processing.
According to the internal presentation of the functionality, Turbo Dial does not delete or permanently block records. Instead, it performs intelligent dialing optimization: it prioritizes "the meat" and leaves "the bone" for later. Additionally, it can retry numbers previously considered negative if the algorithm detects that they are worth another attempt.
What is Turbo Dial?
Turbo Dial is an algorithm that learns from the historical behavior of phone numbers. If it detects that a number consistently yields negative results, it stops prioritizing it with the same intensity and favors other records with a better probability of contact. If a number that previously seemed bad ends up answering, the system stops treating it as a fixed negative case.
What Is It For?
Turbo Dial is used to:
- Prioritize numbers with a higher probability of generating an Answer.
- Avoid insisting with the same intensity on numbers that historically yield negative results.
- Increase agent occupancy.
- Reduce unproductive calls.
- Make better use of telephone trunks.
- Reduce consumption associated with answering machine detection when numbers often end up in voicemail.
- Speed up the processing of large databases.
It is also useful for operations that currently perform pre-analyses of databases outside the platform to try to identify "good" and "bad" phones. Turbo Dial aims to resolve this directly within the campaign.
What Should You Prepare Before Activating It?
Before activating Turbo Dial, you should review the "AMD Configuration" field.
The Turbo Dial checkbox is only enabled if a country or a specific AMD configuration has been selected in "AMD Configuration." If the AMD value is set to 'default,' the Turbo Dial checkbox remains locked and cannot be activated. This is because Turbo Dial's learning relies on the AMD algorithm configured by country.

Where Is It Activated?
Turbo Dial is activated from the configuration of a campaign in wolkvox Manager.
The functional path is as follows: Go to the "Campaigns" section from the left sidebar menu. Locate the campaign you want to configure. Right-click on the campaign. Select "Edit campaign."
- In the configuration window, locate the "Turbo Dial" checkbox and activate it.
- Click "Edit campaign" to save the changes.

Does Turbo Dial Apply Only to Certain Types of Campaigns?
No. Turbo Dial can be used in different campaign scenarios. It can even coexist with strategies like AutoPilot. The difference is that AutoPilot seeks to define how many times to retry negative results, while Turbo Dial seeks to avoid prioritizing those negative results from the start.
