Introduction

The **"IVR Menu"** component allows you to offer customers a menu of options during a call, directing them to different routes in the flow (such as skills, WhatsApp, messages, recordings, etc.) based on the key they press on their phone. It is a key component for building clear and organized **IVR** (Interactive Voice Response) trees within **Voice-type routing points**.

Configuration

  1. In the left sidebar, under the **Basics** group, drag the **IVR Menu** component onto the design canvas.
  2. Double-click the **IVR Menu** component to open its configuration panel.
    • In the **"Menu Message"** field, select the pre-loaded audio that contains the announcement for the customer, for example: *"Welcome, for technical support press 1, for sales press 2, to speak with collections press 3..."*
    • In the **"Attempts"** field, define how many opportunities the customer will have to enter a valid option (e.g., 3 attempts).
    • Once the audio and number of attempts are selected, click **"Save Menu Configuration"** to apply the changes.

  • From the **"IVR Menu"** component, use the arrow icon to connect it to the components that will represent each route (e.g., **Transfer to Skill**, **WhatsApp**, **Record Message**, **End**, etc.).
  • When creating each link, a window will appear to select the option number the customer must press to follow that route.
  • The menu supports up to **10 options**, corresponding to keys **0 to 9**. You can also use **'*'** if needed.
  • Each arrow leaving the **IVR Menu** component will display the associated option number (**0, 1, 2, 3**, etc., or **PULSE/***).
  • Ensure that all options announced in the audio have their respective route configured in the diagram.

  1. It is important to define what happens when the customer does not press any option. To do this, create a route from the **"IVR Menu"** component.
  2. In the selection window, choose the **"PULSE"** option. This route can:
    1. Return the call to the **"IVR Menu"** again (repeat the message).
    2. Send the call to an **"End"** or another component (e.g., a farewell message).
