Introduction

In wolkvox Manager, you can define the inactivity time after which a WhatsApp chat handled by a bot is automatically ended. This configuration is useful when the customer stops responding and the conversation does not continue, allowing the chat to be closed automatically and maintaining a more organized operation.

This setting is done from the general chat channel configuration, within the Web Chat section, which also centralizes configurations applicable to WhatsApp.

Configuration

Follow these steps to set the activity end time for WhatsApp chats handled by bots:

  1. Log in to wolkvox Manager. Click on the "Settings" button, located in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. In the settings window, go to the "Omni Channel" tab.
  3. Then select the "Web Chat" tab.
  4. Make sure the "Disable Widget" toggle is activated, as this interface enables access to the web chat widget configuration and related WhatsApp settings.
  5. Click on the vertical three-dot button to open the general chat channel configuration window.

  1. Within the pop-up window, locate the "WHATSAPP BOT TIMEOUT" section.
    • In the field "Minutes elapsed before ending (WhatsApp):", enter the time you want to set for the system to automatically end the chat due to inactivity.
    • Keep in mind the allowed values for this field:
      • Minimum: 5 minutes.
      • Maximum: 1380 minutes.
  2. Click on "Save" to save the configuration.
