When you try to configure Agent Scripting to type calls using the Wolkvox Hang Up, Type and Ready API, the system gives error 412 (Precondition Failed) with the message: "Please you must activate API v2 in wolkvox manager to use this service."

This scenario occurs in operations that implement automation and typing processes from Agent Scripting using the REST API. A characteristic of this scenario is that the API for querying codes works correctly, but the specific typing API is the one that returns the blocking error.

Answer / Solution

This is a configuration case that can be resolved as follows:

1. Access the Settings from the administrator profile of wolkvox Manager.
2. Go to the Integrations route.
3. Go to the Web Integration tab.
4. Enable the " Activate API v2 AgentBox " option.

Whenever adjustments are made to the Wolkvox Manager settings, the changes should be saved.

Additional validations

If after activating the option any errors persist, check that the sending method ( post, get, delete) is correct according to the API documentation and that the public IPs from which the API is consumed are in the operation's firewall and have the corresponding permissions for the token.
 

Possible Causes

The error occurs because the V2 API for AgentBox services is not enabled by default and requires manual activation on the platform to allow its consumption.
