Symptom or Need
The client reports a bug in the Agentbox platform when sending messages based on WhatsApp templates that contain buttons with dynamic URLs. The variable configured to generate the dynamic URL is not being mapped or populated correctly, causing the recipient to receive a completely empty link.
As a result, pressing the template button displays the error " Oh no, it looks like something happened" or the message: " This website cannot be reached ." This directly affects the notification service, disrupting the redirect flow to end users' custom pages.

Context / Scenarios
- Affected connector: BSP (Different connectors to Cloud API).
- Platform and Service: Agentbox (direct impact on the WhatsApp notification and template sending service).
- Affected service : Sending WhatsApp templates with dynamic URLs.
Answer / Solution
This behavior is due to a feature not available in BSP connectors (different Cloud APIs), and not to a service issue; the following alternative is proposed:
Connector change: Use a connector based on WhatsApp API Cloud, where the functionality of dynamic URLs in buttons is currently supported.
Possible Causes
- Currently, the functionality that allows mapping and sending dynamic URLs in template buttons is available exclusively for connectors based on the WhatsApp Cloud API.
- Because the operation uses a different connector than API Cloud, this platform does not have the ability to process the dynamic variables of these buttons, causing them to arrive empty.
